Established in 2008, we have grown to serve over 150 tourists daily, offering an array of tours and transfer services, both private and shared, in and around the beautiful city of Rio de Janeiro.

BOARDING INFORMATION

Pickup available in Leblon, Ipanema, Copacabana and at meeting points. Pickup time varies according to location. Send a written message by WhatsApp (+55 21 98806 5075) or by email (booking@riocariocatour.com.br) to find out your departure time. It is your sole responsibility to contact and confirm your pickup time. Show up 5 minutes in advance and wait in a visible place. We do not take any responsibility for delays due to traffic and for personal appointments clients may have. Make sure your personal appointment does not get affected by possible delays.

• SHUTTLE TRANSFER: Pickup time is subject to last-minute changes and are reconfirmed the night before the service takes place.

•  IMPORTANTBe in possession of your belongings at all times. We are not responsible for personal objects left inside the vehicles. This voucher is valid only with the confirmation of the TOTAL payment of the service. 

AMENDMENTS

TOUR OR TRANSFER CHANGE REQUESTS

Change requests must be applied until 6pm on the day prior to the service and they are subject to availability. Requests must be made by written message via WhatsApp or email. If the booking was not made directly with Rio Carioca Tour – that is, the booking was made through a service sales platform – the request must be made through the same platform.

CANCELLATION POLICY

We do not cancel due to bad weather, cloudy or rainy days. We cancel services in case of force majeure or fortuitous events; when the delivery of services is not possible, despite our best efforts and diligence and without fault; when there is not a sufficient number of bookings. The customer will be informed in advance in case of cancellation made by Rio Carioca Tour. Requests for refunds must be made by written message by WhatsApp or email. We do not authorize refunds requested in less than 24 hours prior to the date of the service; due to adverse weather conditions; due to client’s withdrawal; due to NO SHOW and due to reduction in the number of clients in relation to the amount informed at the time of booking. If the booking was not made directly with Rio Carioca Tour – that is, the reservation was made through a service sales platform – the request must be made through the same platform. 

• CARNIVAL: The services related to Carnaval have a distinct and particular policy. It is considered a NO SHOW if the customer does not show up on the day of the service. The client does not receive a refund in case of NO SHOW. Rebookings are subject to availability and vary from a minimum fee of 80 BRL per client to the full amount of the service. Each cancellation and refund request is subject to the rules established by Rio Carioca Tour. The Terms and Conditions can be found on the official Rio Carioca Tour website. By purchasing our services, the customer is automatically agreeing to our Terms and Conditions.
