Overview
CARNIVAL 2025:
Enjoy the Carnival parade in Rio. The Special Group is a selected group of the most important Samba Schools of Rio. They compete for the first place in a fierce and elaborate performance that amazes everyone. One part of the group performs on Sunday night (03/02), another part performs on Monday night (03/03), and the last part performs on Tuesday night (03/04). Each Samba School has less than 75 minutes to show their best and conquer the judge’s opinions and, most importantly, the hearts of the audience.
The Opening Group is a group that performs for a place in the Special Group. One part of the group performs on Friday night (02/28) and the other part performs on Saturday night (03/01). Each samba school has less than 55 minutes to show their best and convince the judges that they deserve a place in the elite division of Rio Carnival.
This is the biggest show on Earth. Keep in mind that the Carnival season changes every year.
